In Tanhaji: Non-combatant Ajay Devgn highlights the role of Tanaji Malusare – the general of Maratha Chhatrapati Shivaji. Kajol plays his estranged wife Savitribai Malusare, while Saif Ali Khan plays the nemesis of Tanaji Uday Bhan, who invaded the Kondhana wall during the Battle of Sinhagad on Feb 4, 1670, during the regime to Chhatrapati Shivaji.
Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was directed by Om Raut and produced by Ajay Devgn and Bhushan Kumar. The movie plans to hit the screens on January 10, next year. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Sharad Kelkar, Luke Kenny and Neha Sharma in the lead roles.
The new song Shankara Re Shankara by Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji The Unsung warrior is out. The movie is seen showing off his ability to dance in front of Saif Ali Khan, who plays the inner protagonist Udaybhan Singh Rathod in the film. In the song, the last two fight each other on the battlefield.
Shankara Re Shankara sang and was composed by Mehul Vyas, while Anil Verma wrote the lyrics of the song. Ganesh Acharya is the scientist who led a few assassination campaigns for Ajay Devgn.
